Dyce Garden

This garden project was a unique transformation, combining a modern aesthetic with natural elements to retain its character. It features porcelain paving, artificial grass, a rockery river, a feature bridge, and extensive planting throughout.

Story behind it..

The client approached us upon entering retirement, looking to create a relaxing garden space that required minimal maintenance. We designed and built a low-maintenance outdoor area that still incorporates natural elements, encouraging wildlife while providing a peaceful environment to enjoy.

Paving

For the paving, we selected natural Indian stone, while the stepping stone path was created using concrete moulded slabs designed to replicate the appearance of timber sleepers.

Artificial grass

For this design, we selected artificial grass to reduce maintenance requirements while still achieving the appearance of a natural lawn, making it a practical solution suited to the client’s needs.

Rockery & Bridge

We created a feature rockery dry river using a variety of locally sourced reclaimed granite stones, complemented by a bespoke timber bridge to provide a functional and visually appealing crossing.

Planting & Wildlife

Creating a wildlife-friendly garden was a key priority, so we incorporated over 75 different plant varieties to establish a rich, natural environment that supports biodiversity.
